The Opportunity

Your day-to-day work as a Camera System Architect…

Your product marketing representative presents a Commercial Requirement Specification (CRS). In consultation with the product manager, a target specification for new or improved fixed cameras will be written.

As system architect, you will define the camera system architecture based on the target specification, determining the required functions, technological feasibility, and development potential.

After review and approval by field specialists, you will collaborate with designers to develop the camera in development increments.

You will be responsible for the technical system design and coordination, ensuring production requirements are met and the camera is validated for production.

You may also support the introduction of the new camera into production, service, and customer environments.

You will serve as the technical authority for product marketing, project teams, engineering, and manufacturing regarding the new camera.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new camera systems based on customer needs, technological trends, and market developments.
  • Specify camera system performance, behavior, and functionality.
  • Work with R&D specialists to develop requirements, testing, and verification plans.
  • Contribute to the development of production test plans.
  • Assist in defining system integration results and perform related tests and analyses.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or applied physics with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of camera systems, especially for broadcast industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, preferably in Dutch.
  • Knowledge of optics, colorimetry, control systems, networks, software, power, and FPGAs.
  • Understanding of audio, intercom, video processing, and transmission technologies.
  • Insight into camera user requirements and market competitiveness.
  • Familiarity with broadcast standards and innovation in system design.
