Job description

As a Credit Controller, you’ll take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of accounts and play a key role in optimizing cash flow and reducing credit risk. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and proactively follow up on outstanding accounts within your portfolio.
  • Evaluate new credit applications and adjust credit limits as needed.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Develop and manage repayment plans in coordination with customers.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy.
  • Process and allocate incoming payments in various currencies.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing tasks.
  • Generate customer account statements and prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Participate in review meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss debtor positions.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in credit control
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Comfortable with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Strong communicator who can confidently engage with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within international teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Located within a reasonable commuting distance from Breda
