It offers an engaging environment for professionals looking to contribute to large-scale urban development projects in the region.They are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Dairy Farm Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Job Profile for Dairy Farm ManagerResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Manage all the activities taking place on the farmMonitor and manage the health, breeding, and nutrition of the cattle herdImplement and oversee vaccination programs and disease prevention strategiesMaintain accurate records of individual animal health and production dataAssist junior staff in achieving goalsSet work schedules for the employeesImplement and maintain quality control procedures for all stages of milk productionDevelop and manage budgets for the cattle farm operationMonitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maximise profitabilityPlan and implement feeding programs to meet the nutritional needs of the animalsManage feed inventories, storage, and procurementMonitor and adjust feeding practices based on seasonal variationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records related to herd management, production, and farm operationsCandidate Profile for Dairy Farm ManagerMust be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Arabic fluency would be considered a plusBachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture or a related field10+ years of experience as a Farm Manager or similar roleKnowledge of cattle breeding, nutrition, and health management practicesKnowledge of farm equipment operation and maintenanceFamiliarity with pasture management and rotational grazing techniquesAbility to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasksStrong organisational and problem-solving skills
