Responsible for start-ups, maintenance, and emergency repairs of Vertiv Benelux B.V. environmental products, as well as other contracted systems. Required to establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, salespeople, distributors, and others within the area. Maintain continuous communication with Call Control and the department manager/supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.
- Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual.
- Perform all work safely, in accordance with established company safety policies.
- Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a PM completion rate of at least 90%.
- Assist Call Control in scheduling, planning, and completing start-ups using established workflows.
- Keep Call Control informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
- Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors with the Site Change Form.
- Complete WFS daily paperwork accurately and submit weekly paperwork promptly.
- Report sales or service leads to the appropriate department.
- Support the company vision and management decisions.
- Use email and other office programs effectively.
- Follow all ISO 9001:2000 processes as required.
- As a user, comply with the company’s ITC policy.
- Ensure all activities related to Export Compliance, Import Compliance, EU Arrivals and Dispatching, and Supply Chain Security are performed in full compliance with the company’s International Trade Compliance Regulation certification program.
QUALIFICATIONS
- City and Guilds in Refrigeration, Refrigerant Safe Handling & Air Conditioning OR BTEC.
- Computer literate.
- Previous environmental service experience is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
- Valid driving license.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- Significant after-hours and weekend work, often scheduled with little notice.
- Travel may be required, including overnight stays (hotel).
- Heavy lifting required (up to 35 kg).
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rota.
- Occasional travel abroad may be necessary.
- Company uniform provided and must be worn at all times while working.
- Product training provided.
