Position within the Company

The Global Supply Chain Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the Customer Operations department, managing product lifecycle, shipping documentation, and insurance claims;
  • Driving continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence;
  • Streamlining production through optimized Sales & Operations Planning and forecasting, collaborating with Regional Managers, Commercial Managers, and COO;
  • Fine-tuning inbound and outbound logistics, including inventory management;
  • Ensuring efficient labeling and packaging processes;
  • Implementing process improvements and new logistics concepts;
  • Enhancing logistics service quality, cost-efficiency, communication, and automation in a dynamic environment;
  • Focusing on cost reduction and efficiency;
  • Proactively identifying problems, developing solutions, and proposing improvements;
  • Building relationships with senior management, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

General Information

The Global Supply Chain Manager contributes to Orffa’s global development by optimizing logistics processes to improve customer service, logistics administration, and contract manufacturing. This role involves close interaction with internal teams and leading a logistics team of 10-12 FTE.

The Person

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management.

Knowledge and Experience: 5-7 years in Supply Chain or Logistics management within the international Food, Feed, Chemical, or FMCG industries. Proven leadership and international shipping experience, fluent in English (oral and written).
